Virtually Testing Foundation is seeking a talented individual who possesses skills and experience in Windows Security Testing, Active Directory, & MITRE Adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Common Knowledge (ATT&CK) Framework.
Internship Schedule ποΈ
- 8:00am to 11:00pm Pacific time zone (Monday -Thursday)
Total of 6hrs/day
(3 Mandatory hours and 3 flexible)
Preferred Skills π¨πΌβπ»
- Penetration Testing Tools: Proficiency in tools like Metasploit and Nmap for simulating attacks and finding vulnerabilities.
- Network Protocols: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS for assessing network security.
- Scripting Skills: Ability to write scripts in Python or PowerShell for automating tasks and creating custom exploits.
- Linux Knowledge: Comfortable working with Linux systems and using the command line.
- Web Application Security: Familiarity with common web vulnerabilities within the OWASP Top 10 (examples: LFi, XSS, SQLi, XSRF, etc.)
- Cloud Platform Experience: Basic understanding of AWS or Azure and cloud security principles.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication for documenting findings and reporting to non-technical stakeholders and other interns within the program
- MITRE ATT&CK Framework: Experience with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework to understand adversarial tactics and techniques, enhancing red teaming exercises.
